Walk-ins are welcome, for sure, but to make sure that you can be accommodated on the American River rafting trip of
your choice, calling or going online to make a reservation is the best way to make it happen.
Better To book Ahead
Some days are brim filled with rafters at most companies, due to the popular nature of rafting the american river. However, if you are in the area, and see something you like, go ahead and drive into the camp or meeting place and go for it. Weekdays are the best, and if you arrive just before noon, you should be able to sign up right then and there, and get on the River!!
