Rafting 2021 COVID Update

To our Whitewater Excitement Friends and Family,

We hope you are well! We have been running whitewater rafting trips since April 1st and so far it has been an amazing season! We wanted to let you know about a couple updates for the rest of the season. Now that California is planning on opening up June 15, there have been several changes we want to let you know of. To review our policy up until this point, learn more here.

Whitewater Excitement COVID Updates – Updated June 15

Rafts

For Trips after June 15, we plan on mixing groups as we have done normally in past seasons, so there will be a possibility of another group joining your raft. If you are interested in keeping your raft “private”, please Contact Us and let us know.

Masks/Face Coverings

At this time, we are still requiring masks to be worn in our Vans and Buses during the transportation portion of your trip, per CDC and California Dept. of Public Health.

Lunches and Meals

We have transitioned back to our normal way of serving lunches, as a buffet line. There will be a hand washing station/hand sanitizer available before you serve, and masks will be worn during the serving portion.

Health Pledge

Days prior to your trip, our Health Pledge will be sent out to all guests, who will fill out that they are not experiencing any COVID symptoms and have not been around anyone tested positive within the past 10 days.

Sanitation

After each trip, and throughout the day, all our facilities and vehicles are sanitized and cleaned in preparation for the next group.

What we are asking of you

While things are beginning to open up, COVID does remain a thing. We encourage our guests to:

  • Please follow our business guidelines. We are doing what we can to take everyone down the river, and we appreciate your support and understanding.
  • Please bring your own water bottle. Staying hydrated is important, especially during the heat of the summer. There are multiple areas where you can refill your own bottle to bring down the river.
  • Please let us know if you come down with symptoms of COVID or test positive the 14 days following your trip, so we can notify the proper agencies and guests who were on the trip.

Cancellation Policy

We know that plans still change, and we plan to keep our cancellation policy the same throughout the 2021 Season. To review the policy, you can do so HERE.

As always, we appreciate your support and we enjoy the opportunity of showing you what a great rafting adventure looks like. Please do not hesitation to contact us if you have any questions. You can view our Season Update Here.
